About the Client
The client is a leading multinational bank operating in more than 100 companies around the globe. The company offers different types of credit cards such as silver cards, gold cards, and platinum cards.
The Challenge
The client is looking for a solution to increase the spending through their credits cards on weekends.
In addition to this, the client wants to:
- Create an awareness among the card holders about the program.
- Enable its card holders to access its pool of existing merchants, who offer discounts to its cardholders. Also, add new merchants every quarter.
- Find alternatives to regularly push the program among its card holding customers.
The Solution
Kleward's technical team implemented a solution, which provided following modes of access:
- Web
- WAP
- On device
The implemented software solution consists of the following components:
Web Service: Provides offer information to the On-device, WAP, and Web application.
The Web service interfaces with the database and XML feed extracts the data from the database in the following fields:
- Categories
- City
- Region
- Merchants and Addresses
- Discounts
- Applicable dates
The web-service then integrates API with WAP , On device, and Web applications.
On Device Application: The On device application interacts with Web service for the following:
- updating offers and merchant addresses
- Authorizing information
- Distributing coupons
WAP Application: The WAP portal has the same behavior as an On device application.\
Administration Web Application: The administration application provides the following functionality:
- Data Updation
- Coupon Management
- Consumer Analytics
